The movie industry is just the perfect vessel the politicians need to get control of the internet via SOPA, PIPA and the European version, ACTA. A threat to that industry effects the crowd that is easily swayed by the rhetoric of politicians in crisis. Politicians that feel their nearly limitless power is quickly being removed by an informed public that clearly understands the power of the people as guaranteed by the constitution and re-empowered by the internet.
Politicians are the enemy of the internet because the internet is forcing a change to the way politicians do business. Politicians, like common street thugs, do their best work behind closed doors and under cover of darkness. Politicians can’t stand scrutiny in the light of the internet.
Celebrate the passing of corruption in American politics. A passing brought about by the power of the people to join together. Celebrate the beginning of the end of the professional politician.
