RICHMOND, Va., Sep 22, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --CarMax, Inc. (NYSE:KMX) today reported results for the second quarter ended August 31, 2010. Net sales and operating revenues increased 13% to $2.34 billion from $2.08 billion in the second quarter of last year. Comparable store used unit sales increased 4% for the quarter. Total used unit sales rose 5% in the second quarter. Net income increased to $107.9 million, or $0.48 per diluted share, compared with $103.0 million, or $0.46 per diluted share, earned in the second quarter of fiscal 2010. ...
