
Liars Think Everyone is Lying - The Malkovich Bias Years ago, I had an employee that lied about everything. We used to laugh about the fact he would lie even when the truth was easier and made more sense. If you told him the new inventory would be here tomorrow morning, he would question it - you had to be lying. Through a long association with him and more like him, I developed a theory. Liars think every one is lying. When I would tell someone that was considered trustworthy and honest, the response was always, "Hmm. Yes, your right." Now they have a name for it. Who knew. Several behaviors can be filed under the same title. We all have some traits that fall in this description, I like chocolate cake and so does everybody else.
